Pumpkin Spice Protein Smoothie Recipe

No matter the season, our Pumpkin Spice Protein Smoothie Recipe is the perfect treat to get your protein intake in. This recipe is super easy to make, and you'll wonder why we don't have more pumpkin spiced things here in Australia! 

Ingredients

  • 1 x 30g scoop of Muscle Protein's Whey Power or Vegan Platinum in Vanilla
  • 1/2 cup of pumpkin pie filling or canned pumpkin and 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice*
  • 1/2 cup of milk or milk alternative 
  • 1 teaspoon of maple syrup 
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

*To get one teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice, combine 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon with a 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger, a pinch of ground cloves and a pinch of ground nutmeg.

Directions

  1. Put all the ingredients into a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth
  3. Garnish with pumpkin pie spice or pecans
  4. Enjoy!
